Refund Policy

Blue Nebula Hosting, LLC Effective Date: July 21, 2025 · Last Updated: July 21, 2025

Overview

Blue Nebula Hosting offers a limited refund guarantee for new customers. Refunds are only available for the first month of service and are subject to the conditions listed below.

Eligibility

You must be a brand-new customer (no prior invoices paid for the same account). To qualify:

  • The request must be made within 30 days of account activation.
  • Only one invoice may have been paid (the first-month invoice).
  • Your account must be in good standing — no violations of the Terms of Service, no overdue payments, and no fraudulent activity.

Refund Amount

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive a full refund of the first month's hosting fees. No partial or prorated refunds are offered for any other period.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal and navigate to the "Support" or "Tickets" section.
  2. Create a new ticket with the subject line "First-Month Refund Request".
  3. In the ticket description, include:
  4. Your account email / username.
  5. Invoice number for the first month.
  6. Reason for the refund request (optional, but helpful).
  7. Alternatively, you may email billing@bluenebulahosting.com with the same information.
  8. Submit the ticket or send the email. You will receive an automatic acknowledgment within a few minutes.

Processing Time

All approved refunds are processed within 3 business days of receipt of the request. The refund will be issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.). You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been completed.

What Happens After a Refund Is Issued?

  • Your hosting account will be automatically terminated at the end of the current billing cycle (i.e., immediately after the refund is processed).
  • All data stored on the server will be permanently deleted. Please back up any files you wish to keep before requesting a refund.
  • You will no longer have access to the customer portal or any services associated with the account.

Non-Refundable Situations

The following scenarios are not eligible for a refund:

  • Requests made after the 30-day window.
  • Accounts with more than one paid invoice.
  • Accounts that have violated the Terms of Service (e.g., abuse, fraud, non-payment).
  • Any portion of the service beyond the first month.
