Troubleshooting

When something isn't working, work through the matching section. Most issues come down to one small thing. If a step here doesn't fix it, contact support with what you tried and what you saw.

My website won't load

  1. Check the domain points to us. Make sure your domain's nameservers (or its A record) point to Blue Nebula Hosting — see Point your domain.
  2. Wait for propagation. Changes can take up to 48 hours to take effect.
  3. Try a private/incognito window or clear your browser cache.
  4. Still nothing? Contact support with your domain name.

My email isn't sending or receiving

  1. Check the password in your mail app — it must be the one you set when creating the mailbox.
  2. Use your full email address as the username — the part before the @ alone often won't work.
  3. Confirm the server settings — the hostname, port, and security type must match the ones shown in the control panel. See Create an email address.
  4. Try webmail. If Webmail works but your app doesn't, it's a device settings issue, not a hosting problem.

My domain isn't resolving

  1. Check nameservers at your registrar are set to ours.
  2. Wait up to 48 hours for propagation.
  3. Verify your DNS records — see Manage DNS records.

I can't log in

  1. Use the Forgot password link on the login page rather than guessing.
  2. Make sure you're on the right page — the account area and control panel are separate logins.
  3. If you're locked out of your account area, email support from an address you can still use.

My site shows "not secure"

That's a missing or not-yet-issued SSL certificate. Enable SSL in the control panel — see Secure your site (SSL). Give it a few minutes after enabling.

My site is slow

  • Update WordPress core, themes, and plugins — outdated software is a common cause.
  • Check your plan's resources match your traffic.
  • Contact support if it's persistently slow.
