Set Up Email on Your Phone¶
Add your Blue Nebula Hosting email to your phone (iPhone or Android) in a few steps. You'll need the connection settings shown in the control panel when you created your mailbox — see Create an email address.
The settings you'll use¶
Here's what you'll typically enter, though your exact values depend on your domain:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Hostname | mail.yourdomain.com |
| Webmail | http://webmail.yourdomain.com |
| Incoming server (IMAP) | your hostname, port 993, SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing server (SMTP) | your hostname, port 465, SSL/TLS |
| Username | your full email address (e.g. you@yourdomain.com) |
Use your full email address as the username — the part before the
@alone won't work on most devices.
Add it on iPhone (iOS)¶
- Open Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account.
- Tap Other, then Add Mail Account.
- Choose IMAP and enter your name, full email address, and password.
- For incoming and outgoing servers, enter your hostname and the port/security above.
- Tap Next and Save when it verifies.
Add it on Android¶
- Open your email app (Gmail or your device's mail app).
- Tap Add account → Other.
- Enter your email address and password.
- If asked for server details, enter your hostname and the ports above.
If it won't connect¶
- Double-check you're using your full email address as the username.
- Make sure you typed the hostname correctly (no
www, nohttp://). - Confirm you're using the right port and security type (SSL/TLS vs STARTTLS).
